Location Events begin at the new Enterprise High School on October 15 and end October 16 at the new Enterprise Civic Center.

Judi Stinnett confirmed the following:
October 15th & 16th for the reunion festivities.

Friday, the 15th: Meet at the new EHS cafeteria at 4 PM for visiting (and, if desired, cinnamon rolls and sweet tea for a gratuity for the lunchroom ladies� Tip Jar).
Tickets and programs will be available.
Game at 7PM. (Stadium backs up to the cafeteria�.REAL close by)
Suggested parking�the auditorium side of the school, entering via the Main Street entrance. MAP WILL BE SENT

Saturday, the 16th:
11 AM � 6 PM: Ricky Adams will provide music in the Johnny Henderson Park, at Pavilion 3
Bring chairs and/or blankets

BRIEF tours of the new EHS are scheduled as follows:
9:00 AM Classes of �53 � �62
10:00 AM Classes of �63 � �70
11:00 AM Classes of �71 � �75

The following avenues were suggested to utilize in locating classmates:
Sue Speigner: 334-347-0309 Phyllis Tanner requested and was given info for the class of �64, which was easier to manage for sender and recipient.

Hotels (7 local) were contacted�none responded with interest in special rates or otherwise. Some standard rates were provided:
Comfort Inn: $67 + tax

Rawls


Following are the issue options discussed, voted upon, and chosen:

Location for the Saturday evening gathering:
Civic Center: $3,000 to $4,000 (still estimating $10.00 per person). The facility will hold 1,000 standing. The price will include the following:
a. Rents for 9 hours, minimum
b. Access to part of the kitchen and ice-machine
i. They will provide set up for food provided.
c. Sound system and sound man
i. Ricky will cover as sound man and has own system�will confirm compatibility�that is with the system�.Ricky is compatible most of the time�it is the sound system that needs to be checked.
d. Tables will be set up for each class represented.
i. A few chairs (8?) can surround each table.
ii. Each class is responsible for decorations /
e. Clean up
f. Alcohol is allowed.
g. Wooden floor for dancing.
h. PARKING spaces: MAX 400 (shuttling from the EHS parking lot suggested)
i. NO SMOKING!!!
j. Time: 7-11 to provide time for clean-up by midnight
k. A FIRM NUMBER MUST BE PROVIDED TO THE CENTER BY EARLY SEPTEMBER (10th).
Phyllis contacted Billy (Cotter) regarding assistance with the Civic Center�He is looking into it and will get back to us.


After a brief discussion of the pros and cons of each, the representatives voted to use the Civic Center. Judi said she would make the $500.00 down-payment (which will be reimbursed, unless negative circumstances dictate otherwise..the guilty parties will pay!). The balance will be due when the number attending is determined�early September (10th) deadline. Each class representative will be responsible to collect money and repay Judi.

FOOD Discussion and Vote:
23 tables with 8 chairs each will be set up, as will be food stations located at inside circle.

Collect an amount to cover a caterer. Penny Jordan and Vicki Harrison were suggested. Jenny Jones will check and bring info to next meeting.
There is a cash bar possibility. Tim Whitehead will check (and Jenny)

MISC.
Suggested dress for Friday night: EHS Blue and White.
Discussed: Possibility of special reunion T-shirts. Enterprise T-Shirts and Royal Palms will be contacted.
Designs were discussed and will be forthcoming for further discussion/vote.
Saturday night dress: CASUAL

Next Mega Reunion Class Rep meeting will be held again at the ESCC Library, Wednesday night, June 9, 2010 at 7PM

Additional details The EHS Class of 1974 invites the EHS Classes of 1972, 1973, 1975 and 1976 to join them in celebrating their 35th reunion Saturday, July 11, 2009. The MEGA REUNION will begin at 7 p.m. at Enterprise Country Club featuring the band Chevy 6. Light hors d'oeuvres will be served. The dress is resort casual.

COST:
CLASS of 74: $74 per person before June 20, $90 per person after June 20. This includes Friday night activities for the Class of 74 (only) as well as the MEGA REUNION Saturday night.
CLASSES of 72, 73, 75, and 76. $45 per person before June 20, $60 per person after June 20.
All checks should be made payable to EHS MEGA REUNION.
