The committee went the extra mile (over the Bay Bridge) to create an event that is NOT your typical 20 year class reunion in a hotel ball room complete with rubber chicken dinner. We've setup an exciting evening at a hip downtown SF lounge with all the amenities for less cost than the canned reunion company packages. Additional details This is great news! There is excitement in the air about a NG reunion this year, but it will be different than other. Firstly, it will be more fun! How's that for starters? And here is why.

Firstly, it is not just for 79 folks, it is for 79 and friends of 79. Now, I know some of you say, I don't know or stay in touch. That is the whole point of this get together, to get to know others. We have so many things in common, we grew up in Walnut Creek and we did attend the same HS and that is a strong start. Just think, it's a chance to reestablish old friends and a chance to make new ones.

The Type/Venue: From our preliminary feedback, PICNIC Style is by far the choice and at a park such as Heather Farms. Where we can bbq, throw the football, Frisbee, play volleyball, other sports and activities.

Who else is invited: Your spouses OF course! and your children - yes, your children. I personally wold love to meet the children of yours, wild. Some of our last conversations together is when we were younger than our children who will be attending with you! But please bring them.

Other details - we will send them out as we coordinate and discover.

Finally - we need your help to get the word out. attached is a spreadsheet, hopefully with all your emails correct. Please add people to the list we should contact and update and send it back to me, I will automatically include them in the next update. Oh, when, I need your help there too. We are thinking mid July 09; If you will be available only a particular time period in July, please note that next to your name in the spreadsheet. We will try and pick a date where most people will be available - of course we hope the venue/park is available then too.

I hope you'll be able to join the fun, it sounds exciting and I look forward to seeing you all again and for the first time.
