The Sierra Vista High School Class of 1989 Reunion is only 61 Days away!
OH! And we rocked Stateline!

For those of you who were able to attend the Stateline Fundraiser...THANK YOU! Even though the day started off really early (6:30AM) everyone that showed up seemed to have a blast. Jose Cisneros rocked the bus with his Musical Stylings, Steve Hernandez MC'd the Bingo and Raffle giveaways, Mirna Muro (Coloma), Claudia Hacegaba (Oliveros), and Martha Serrato (Ibarra) served up the drinks and snacks to a bus filled with class of 89'ers and their friends and families. We arrived at Stateline before noon and proceeded to shop, gamble, drink, and socialize before we departed for home at around 7:30PM. For those of you on the trip, Jose and Jenny Cisneros are making a DVD of the photos available to you for the low price of $5. If you are interested, please let us know and we will get you a copy. All proceeds from the sale of these DVDs will go to the Class of 89 Reunion Fund. THANKS JOSE AND JENNY! There are already talks from many of the attendees about doing this at least once a year.

Now for our next major order of business...

We have been so hard at work on the upcoming celebration and we now desperately need your help. We have been planning for all aspects of the reunion and unfortunately we've all had to reach into our own pockets to cover deposits and supplies for the big day. We are asking that any of you who are indeed planning on attending the reunion send in at least a 50% deposit of the ticket price. We are coming up on a substantial payment due to the Pomona Valley Mining Company and to be honest we are rather low on funds to make the required payment. If you have already made your payment, please disregard this message, but stay tuned for updates on the big night!

As a reminder the ticket prices and eventual deadlines are below:

TICKETS:
$150 per couple (BEFORE JULY 15, 2009)
$75 per person (BEFORE JULY 15, 2009)

$170 per couple (AFTER JULY 15, 2009)
$85 per person (AFTER JULY 15, 2009)

$180 per couple (AT THE DOOR)
$90 per person (AT THE DOOR)

HOTEL ACCOMODATIONS:
We have selected the Ayres Suites in Diamond Bar to host our incoming classmates for the weekend. We have a block of rooms available under the name of �SVHS Class Of 1989 20-Year Reunion.� Each room is blocked for a check-in on Friday, August 14th, 2009 and checkout on Sunday, August 16th, 2009. YOU DO NOT NEED TO STAY THE ENTIRE WEEKEND.Please call the Ayres Suites to reserve the dates you require for your stay.

HAIR AND MAKEUP:
We have secured one of Hollywood�s busiest Makeup Artists as an additional service to our guests. Crystal Bernal has done Television, Film, and Print work and you can take a look at her website for her resume and portfolio.

She has graciously agreed to charge a special rate of $75.00 for her services. She normally charges upwards of $300 per styling. Crystal and her team will be available on the morning of the Reunion to take care of Hairstyling (up do�s) and makeup. Please contact Steve Hernandez at 323-304-4699 to book a session. Since we may need to bring in other staff for this, we will need to confirm that you will require her services by no later than Friday, July 24th, 2009.

TRANSPORTATION
There will be a complimentary shuttle available for guests of the Ayres Suites. It will run between the Ayres Suites and the Pomona Valley Mining Company, continuously between the hours of 6:00pm and 2:00am on the night of the reunion.
