Class of 1988

Additional details Dear Fellow YHS Class of 1987 Classmate,

Our 20 year Reunion is now upon us. We hope you are as excited as we are for the opportunity to reunite with old friends and reminisce about old times. Our 20 Year Reunion is scheduled for the weekend of August 3rd, 4th, and 5th of 2007.

You may at any time check our web site for the most current and up to date information at www.yucaipahigh1987.com. For your convenience you can also register and pay for the Reunion, update your e-mail or mailing address, check to see who has already RSVP’d to attend, submit photos for the video montage that will be played during the reunion, and also fill out the “What Have You Been Doing For The Last 20 Years” Handbook questionnaire. This handbook will be mailed out to all classmates who have RSVP’d to attend the Saturday Night event. You will receive the handbook before the Reunion so that you can catch up on what everybody has been doing.

The search is on and we need your help updating our mailing list and finding all of our classmates. Feel free to forward any and all information to fellow classmates that you still stay in contact with; we need your help to make this event a success.

The following schedule is what your Reunion Committee has planned for your enjoyment….

Friday Night
The Friday Night Meet and Greet will be held at the Mill Creek Cattle Company Smokehouse and Saloon located at 1874 Mentone Blvd. in Mentone from 7:00pm until close. This will be an impromptu gathering of anybody who would like to attend over the age of 21. There is no cover charge and they usually have a live band playing on stage during the weekends. We are inviting the classes of 1986 and 1988 to join us in the festivities and the Saloon will be open to the public.

Saturday Night
The Saturday Night Dinner and Dancing is going to be held at the Morongo Casino Resort & Spa in Cabazon located at 49500 Seminole Drive in Cabazon from 6:00pm until midnight. The cost will be $65.00 per person before May 1st and $75.00 per person after May 1st. We have set up a Pay Pal account on our web site so that you can register and pay by Visa or MasterCard on line. You will also be able to see who has confirmed and RSVP’d to attend the reunion at the class web site. There will be a no host bar throughout the evening, dinner and dessert, a DJ for dancing, and a photographer will be on hand to take pictures for purchase and also for the Reunion Memory Book and Photo CD. The casino has reserved a block of rooms for us under YHS Class of 1987 Reunion at the rate of $179.00 a night. We have also attached a list of other nearby hotels and campgrounds for your easy reference ranging from Banning to Redlands with a varying range of quality and cost. In an effort to keep the Reunion a more intimate and personal gathering, only members of the Class of 1987 are cordially invited to this event. As always, all paid guests of any 1987 classmate are welcome.

Sunday Afternoon
The Sunday Afternoon Family Picnic will be held at the Yucaipa Community Park located at 34900 Oak Glen Road in Yucaipa starting at 12:30pm. The park consists of 32.5 acres and offers scenic views and an abundance of recreational resources. Amenities include three multi-purpose ball fields, two tennis courts, two basketball courts, a sand volleyball court, two playgrounds, walking trails, group picnic shelters, barbecues, an amphitheater, and restroom facilities. There are 9 shelters that vary in size from 4 tables to 10 tables. As a Class we were not able to reserve the main Gazebo because the City of Yucaipa offers a “Concert in the Park” program on Sunday evenings during the summer starting at 6:00pm, but we will be off to one side in a smaller Gazebo. You can make a whole day of it and enjoy both our reunion picnic and their evening concert. The Picnic is BYOE. (Bring Your Own Everything) and we are inviting the classes of 1986 and 1988 to join us in the festivities and the Park will be open to the public.
