Hello, my name is Jan (Weiman) Scott - CHS - Class of 1968. I work with Terry James, the owner and DJ for the JitterSwing Dance Club in St. Louis, MO. We have started a new venue in St. Louis, to help with High School Reunions. Most Alumni never have a Class Reunion, since nobody seems to want to take on the huge task of organizing it. Some schools find it easier if they have ALL ALUMNI Reunions. *(This venue is NOT connected with our CHS All Alumni Reunions).* We already hold a dance w/lessons at the Concord Farmer's Club, in St. Louis, MO, on Friday evenings (from 7-11 pm) and now will be setting a date for each High School, in the St. Louis/IL Metro area, to gather their classmates (of ALL YEARS), and meet from 5-7 pm, for an All Alumni Reunion, prior to our dance. Our school (CHS) will be invited to stay for dance lessons and/or the dance - the whole evening, for one price of $7/person. Second Day Event. Lunch at Hard Rock Cafe, Union Station. We will meet at 10:30 am in front of Hard Rock Cafe for a photo. Then we will go to the upper patio area to meet for PAY YOUR OWN lunch. Afterwards enjoy your time at Union Station, remember if you bring the kids there is paddle boats, feed the fish, bounce trampolines and galaxy mini golf...or even the kid in you. Don't forget the Fudgery puts on a great demo, and the Fudge ain't bad either! There is plenty of parking and Shelba will have discount tickets for parking and other items inside Union Station that will be handed out at the Picnic on August 1. Also, DONT FORGET, the Metrolink makes a stop right at Union Station. That's my option - no traffic or parking hassles to be found.
