50th Anniversary Reunion of SEHS Classes of 1962 & 1963

The fourth committee meeting was held October 02, 2010. Seven members from the two classes met at the home of Linda & Larry Coltrane.

Topics discussed during the 4th planning session:

1. All school 50 year celebration
We were advised plans are being considered for a celebration to recognize the 50th year since the opening of Southeast High School. The committee decided to hold the reunion for the classes of 1962-1963 separate of the all school celebration.

2. Date for the 1962-1963 class reunion
We plan to schedule the date for the class reunion in the next 30 days. By that time, the 2012 football schedule will be available. The reunion will be held on a weekend of a Friday night home football game. We would prefer the reunion be held the weekend of homecoming. However, homecoming is scheduled much later and we prefer to set a date for our reunion so class members can make plans to attend the reunion.

3. Post card notifying class member about the reunion Information about the reunion will be forwarded to each class member Jan.-Feb. 2011.

Additional details This is a mini-reunion for classes of 1962 and 1963 to plan for a big celebrative reunion in 2012-2013 on the 5oth anniversary of our graduations. The class of 1962 was the first class to graduate from SEHS. That's deserving of a big blowout even in 2012.

Just a reminder: We will hold our 10-Year reunion Sat. May 24th, 2008 at 4 p.m. at Lakeside Park NW Shelter (#2).
SEHS Class of '98 Students, Friends and Families are all welcome. Please dress comfortably and let no
situation keep you from coming!
Each family should bring their own beverages AND a finger food dish (cookies, brownies, chips/dip, crackers, etc.).
Other arrangements have been made if the weather does not cooperate, in this event please contact Stacy or Susan

Cocktail night will follow at
a different location (no children please) - more details will follow closer to the date!
