Additional details Dear Class of 89,
Due to lack of interest and reservations it is with great regret that we have to cancel the 20 year reunion. The committee thanks those of you who sent your money and rsvp'd and those of you who stayed in contact with the committee during this process. Please allow 2 weeks for your refunds. If you do not receive your refund within that time please contact Tonja McCloud or Michelle Light and we will get it to you right away. Also, if you made reservations @ the ramada do not forget to cancel. Again, we are truly saddened by this situation. A lot of time & effort was put into the planning the reunion, but not enough commitment to bring it to fruition. Hopefully classmates will remain in touch and who knows maybe we can shoot for a 30 year.

Additional details The GCHS Class of 1988 will hold its 20th Reunion on the weekend of August 2nd and 3rd, 2008.

Beginning the morning of Saturday, August 2nd, a Golf Scramble is being arranged for anyone interested in playing. Please contact Todd Montgomery at 606-932-6435 between 8AM and 8PM for cost and details or check out classmates.com.


On 6:00 PM Saturday evening, we will hold a social hour at the Portsmouth Brewing Company at 224 2nd Street; dinner will be catered by the Scioto Ribber starting at 7:00. Music, dancing, and additional socializing will follow until midnight. (Pictures of the area posted on this site. We have the patio and an inside and outside area separate from the restaurant & bar.) The cost is $25.00 per person and reservations must be made by July 25th.

On Sunday, August 3rd from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM a family picnic will be held at Flatwoods City Park. The Main Course, soft drinks, and water will be provided. You are asked to bring a covered dish, a dessert and your paper products & utensils. The Cost is $5.00 per person. (The Flatwoods City Park is located behind Super Quik in Flatwoods.)

Location Greenbo, Field in Front of Old One House School. Look for large class banner. Plan on staying for fireworks to be held at the new pool location. Go to Classmates.com and let us know if you are going to attend :)

Additional details Bring your own salad and side items, BBQ and drinnks provided. You will need your own folding chairs, blankets, cooler, umbrella, etc. as we are simply reserving the field for games and the picnic. Bring pictures and wear casual clothes. Bring your 70's CDs or other favorites!
