It's time to get out your 2009 calendar and start filling in the important dates,,, and one of the dates you must not forget is the LAST WEEKEND IN JUNE! June 26 & 27, 2009 are the dates for the 50th REUNION OF THE CLASS OF 1959. Preparations are being made and hopes are high for a big crowd. At this time here are some of the plans: Friday Night--- Chili Supper at Fedilia (Sanchez) and Jimmie Taylor's home. Saturday Morning -- Brunch at Mickey (Farr) and Ferol Beckner's home. Saturday Noon -- Lunch at CHS followed by the business meeting. Saturday Evening -- Backyard Picnic at Brown's, Kimble's or Dimitroff's. There has been some discussion of making a gift to the Bill Kirby Scholarship Fund to honor his memory and the memories of our deceased classmates. More details later. The local committee in Clayton so far consists of Mickey, Georgia, Rodney, Nick, Fidelia, Fred and Reinaldo. The out of towner's so far are Peggy, Sandra, Jane, Kathy and Bobby Kitts. Forest "Woody" Wood is posting to the web site and Jane is trying to get a current mailing list together. We want to find everyone and update our information. If you haven't signed in at this site and given Jane your contact information, please do so. If you know of others who may not have checked in, please send their info as well. we are looking forward to hearing from all of you. Let's make this the greatest reunion ever!
