I would like to have an all Edison & Ehove reunion. I need to know if there's an interest? I need to know if it should be a family event? I need to know how many rooms to reserve? I need to know who will just eat, but stay at home if local? My bid is as follows: Food, beverages, tax, gratuites, lodging, and all amenities available to our classes ( all inclusive.) I would like to know if everyone woul;d like one day designated for Cedar Point. I wll try to get a lg. group rate discount? Sawmill I got a bid for last year. This is it: rooms, food, beverages. They have available: Tom Fazio Champion Golf (18 holes and a cart usually $85.00 they quoted me $69.00, bon fire small at the Lodge or Large at their private beach, Sawmill Explorer folds 65 people Max based on 200 attending it would be $6.93 a person. We could do one boat each night to accomadate everyone that would like a night cruise out towards the Islands. Reception informal 5:30 - 9:00 PM, Bonfire 5:30 - 9:00 pm, 7:30- 9:00 AM breakfest buffet, lunch on your own the day those go to Cedar Point, 5:30 - 6:30 PM Explore boat ride to the Islands, 7:00 - 8:00 reception pool side, 7:00 - 10:30 reception and dinner semi formal, 8:30 - 10:30 dinner pool side. They offer an open bar: beer, wine & soft drinks $8.00 first hr. each additional hr. $7.50. Beer by the Keg Budweiser, Bud Light, Miller Lite, Sam Adams, Coors & Coors Lite. Domestic bar choice of: Budweiser, Bud Light, Miller Lite, Sam Adams, Coors, and Coors lite $225.00 per Keg. Imported beer choice of Heineken, Amstel Lite, Labatt $325.00 a keg. Cash bar: Priced per drink charges based on consumption. They also offer parasaling, jst skis, hiking at Sheldons Marsh, indoor and out door pools, exercise room, game room. They offer a DJ in the Black Bear Saloon, valley ball on grass or volleyball in the sand. Tennis court, putting green beside the out door pool. HE WAS A HUGE OSU FAN RON MCLODA SOLD THE WINNING TICKET WE HAVE SEVERAL CLASSMATES TO THANK FOR SELLING ENOUGH TICKETS TO COVER THECOST OF THE PACKAGE WE HAVE SEVERAL ADDITONAL CLASSMATES TO THANKS FOR SELLING TICKETS FOR THE MILAN CHAMBER AND THANKS TO ALL OF YOU WHO BOUGHT TICKETS.. SPECIAL THANKS TO TERESA HUTCHINS LANE AND KELLY TAYLOR GUSEMAN-- KELLY'S GRAPHICS WE SHOULD END UP WITH A PROFIT OF AROUND 700... MAYBE A LITTLE MORE IF WE CAN GET SOME THINGS DONATED... The class of 1989 will have a family potluck picnic at Edison Park in Milan on Saturday, 9/5/09 at noon in the East shelter house. Please bring your own drinks, place settings, serving utensils, and yard games.
