Activity 30 Year Reunion
Additional details We had our final planning committee meeting for the fall. We decided to hold off until spring for further meetings because the football schedule won't be out till March, so we won't have a definated date until then. As far as activities go, we decided to hold a tailgate party before the football game on Fri. nite and participate in the parade on Sat. afternoon. We'll top it all off with a party Sat. nite at the former Royal Oak park. Check back at this site in April for updates and more specific information. Thanks to the planning committee members for all the effort so far. This is gonna be a blast!

Additional details I will be a the Reunion on the River this weekend. I'll be set up at the tailgate party & game on Fri, Oct 1 starting at 5:30. Additional details Hello class of 1995!

Plans are underway for our 15th reunion. Please mark your calendars for October 1-2. We are teaming up with the annual Reunion on the River. Current plans are the following (more details to follow):

Friday October 1st

5:30 - 7:30 pm
Family event: Tailgate at the Meigs High School Homecoming football game in the stadium parking lot. Game starts at 7:30. We will have a tent setup for our class.


Saturday October 2nd

10:30am - 4:00pm:
Family fun on the parking lot along the river. We will have a tent available for our class to socialize.

12:30/1:00:
Join your classmates for the parade. We will need volunteers. So please let us know if you would like to help plan and decorate. Family will be welcome on the float.

Evening (Adult event): We have the upstairs reserved at the Court Street Grill. Join us for some snacks and beer! (The bar will be open downstairs for drinks - cash bar).

Activity 30 YEAR CLASS REUNION
Location Kountry Resort Campground (Royal Oak)
Additional details We had our first meeting and it was a blast! The TENTATIVE DATES for our reunion are October 7 & 8, 2011. Oct 7 will be a tailgate party before the game in the parking lot of the field, then sitting as a class in the stands for the game. Saturday, the possiblities are endless. They range from a golf scramble, fishing tournament, alumni parade, alumni football game, family picnic, swimming and a party that night. We are going to be present at this years' Reunion on the River, Oct. 1 & 2, to collect and distribute more information. Surveys will be available at that time to help us narrow down Saturdays events. The same survey will be on this website soon.

Additional details Well, we still haven't had a meeting but Sandy Herdman Clay has graciously offered the use of the old Royal Oak Park as a place to hold the event. Turns out she and her husband bought the old park and are running it now....lucky for us! Thanks Sandy! I've noticed more and more classmates are joining this website so that's a good thing. Please join the group that I started on this website and share your opinions about what you want in a reunion: when do you want to have it...day or night....kids or no kids....spouses or no spouses.....during the big Meigs alumni in the fall or completely separate from that event. I need your input so it's a reunion that everyone will enjoy.
