Activity Tree Dedication / Homecoming Game
Location Carlisle Senior High School - In front of Auditorium

Additional details Hello Class of '79'ers! The tree dedication is scheduled for October 30, 2009 at 6PM at the Senior High School. Rick Carns has agreed to say a few words to commemorate the tree for our classmates who have died. The plaque will give the genus/species of the tree and the words "Gift from the Class of 1979."

Join us around 5PM for a tour of the school, if you wish, and meet us before 6PM in the area in front of the auditorium and office entrances -- the tree will be planted in the grassy circular area in front.


Game tickets are $4, food is available at the concession stand, and we're planning to gather after the game ... perhaps at the G-man?

Additional details Please mark your calendar for August 22, 2009 for a fun, relaxing afternoon and evening at the Old Town Run Mountain Lodge, just south of Mount Holly Springs, PA on Route 94.

ABOUT THE LOCATION
The Lodge is set down a long lane surrounded by woods. It offers a spring-fed pond for fishing, swimming and floating, hiking trails, space for Frisbee, volleyball, bocce ball, or simply vegging in a lawn chair, a fire pit, an air conditioned indoors with a huge commercial kitchen, and ample room indoors and out, regardless of the weather. The price is right, so we'll be able to keep the per person price low and offer good chow, live music, and a variety of beverages. Even better, we can make all the noise we want, and you're only 15 minutes from Carlisle if you're still raring to go at the end of the evening in the country!

Get your travel plans together, find your sunscreen, walking shoes, and lawn chair, if you're local (we'll find one for you if you're traveling to be here), and look forward to a great time catching up with buds who are now 30 years older <gasp!>. We're anticipating a great turnout and welcome any and all comments, questions, and suggestions.
