Additional details Ok, mark your calendars, we're going to try to have a combined reunion with the Class of "84 this coming fall. The fun will begin on Friday, October 1st with the DB vs South football game. We were trying to do a "free" event, where there is no fee to come, just do what you can.
You're on your own for tickets to the game, sorry, the Alumni Field House is not available this time. If anyone is interested in a golf outing like we had at the 20th, we can arrange for that. As for Saturday night festivities, we'll check out some of the new restaurants/clubs in the downtown area that feature live music.
We're open to suggestions to what else to plan for the weekend. Spread the word, we won't be mailing invitations, so it's up to word of mouth and Facebook to let everyone know. We look forward to seeing you in October! Please ignore any info that says the reunion is on Oct. 20th!

Activity 40th Class Reunion
Location DB Class of '69 Reunion tentative Date: September 4 & 5, 2009 We will use the Meadowview Resort & Conference Center as our primary host for lodging & Saturday evening Reunion. Meadowview is a Marriott hotel and for any classmates who have not been back to Kingsport in some time, it is a very nice facility. They have offered rooms at a rate of $89/night. In addition to Meadowview, there are other hotels close by such as Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express & Jamison Inn. We will attempt to negotiate favorable rates with these hotels, closer to the time. Schedule: September 4: DB Ballgame (Tentative--if home game. Schedule will be announced later this year.). Social @ DB Alumni Hall/Fieldhouse. If no home game--social gathering at another location will be determined. September 5: Saturday Morning Golf Outing--any classmates and/or spouses are invited to play. This will be held at Meadowview Cattails Golf Course which is connected to the Marriott/Meadowview Resort/Conference Center. September 5: Saturday Evening--Class Reunion @ Meadowview. The evening will be a great time to reunite with your classmates. Buffet Dinner to be served and music of our era will be provided. Cost for evening: $50/person.
