Activity JCHS Class of 1980 30 Year Reunion
Location Quality Inn Creekside in Gatlinburg for a reunion dinner on Saturday, August 14. I did check to see if they had earlier dates, but this was actually the only weekend available in July or August. The estimate cost is $75 per couple, $40 per single, which will cover use of the room, dinner and a DJ. There will be a cash bar. Hotel rooms are available from $65 per night.

Location Hi, Folks. I got some e-mails today that an announcement had been posted in the July 26 issue of the Standard Banner. The Jefferson County High School Class of 1987 will hold their 20 year reunion August 10-11.

On Friday, August 10, a gathering will be held at the Jefferson County High School Swimming Pool from 6 to 9 p.m. Kids are welcome. Concessions will be available, and a small collection will be taken up to cover the cost of the pool reservation.

On Saturday, August 11, music and dinner will be held at the Point Restaurant in Dandridge, beginning at 7 p.m. Dinner can be ordered from the menu, and drinks will be available.

We're thinking of having a 2-day celebration, probably a Friday-Saturday in September. Friday would be a semi-formal (adults only) event, held somewhere fairly nice -- like a restaurant or the ballroom of a hotel. Saturday would be a more casual, kid-friendly affair --- like a picnic or pizza party (perhaps someplace like Douglas Dam).

It's too early in the game to have a firm idea on what the prices would be, but we'd like to know what you'd feel comfortable with. For example, does $40 per person for Friday and $15 per person for Saturday sound reasonable? If not, what price range would you be more comfortable with.
