Hello Classmates:
Can you believe it has been 30 years since we exited the halls of SHS.!!! I guess that makes us sound pretty old, but we are still young enough to celebrate a class reunion. The Class of 80 will be getting together for a night of fun, dancing, eating, and laughter on October 16, 2010 at the Old National Guard building at the fairgrounds. This milestone event will kick off on Friday night, October 15, 2010 with those who want to attend the SHS football game at 7:00 pm. On the 16th, we will begin gathering at 6:30 pm with dinner being served at 7:00 pm at the old armory.
For those who would like to tour our Alma Mater, plans are being made for this to take place that Saturday afternoon to get the party started.
This event will be very fun as we get reacquainted to renew old friendships, enjoy the company of one another and reminisce about the good ole days. The music of the 70's and 80's will be provided by a DJ and should start around 8:00 pm and concluding at midnight. The old Armory is considered alcohol free so no open containers if you catch my phrasing.
Please complete and return the attached reservation form with your check or money order by September 15, 2010.
