The NCHS Class of '98 is scheduled for 8 p.m., Oct. 4, 2008 at the Harvester Restaurant.

Additional details Our 40th year reunion is coordinating with the 100th Anniversary of the opening of N.C. There will be a Centennial Open House at N.C. on Sat., Sept. 13 from 9 - 4 (changed from 6) with a welcome ceremony at 10:00 a.m. in the gym. There will be reserved classrooms by the decades people graduated so we can meet there later that morning, and also have another room close by for just our class. We are considering gathering at another location later that night, too, but plans have not been finalized. Also on Saturday there will be an Alumni-Booster Club golf tournament at 1:30 at Downriver Golf Course. On Fri., 9/12, there will be a Centennial football game at Albi at 5:30. The school play, The Doll Shop, will have special alumni performances on May 3 at 2:00 and 7:30. N.C. is having a special classic car entry in the Lilac Parade on May 17. I am keeping the N.C. website updated with our class information. On the left is reunion information for many classes, so choose the class of 1968. On this Classmates website, it doesn't allow me to write phone numbers and people's websites, but the information for Mike Jordan and I are on that site. Activity 40 Year class reunion held at N.C. on 9/13/08
Location North Central school building. There is an all graduate Centennial Open House at N.C. on 9/13 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Our class will meet in a classroom after the 10:00 welcome ceremony to visit and reconnect, and possibly at another location later that night. More plans to come. We need to know what you want, and if you are willing to help make the plans.

As a North Central Alumni, on behalf of the 2008 North Central High School Senior All-Nighter (SAN) Parent Group, please consider this a formal request for your help and support.

You may or may not be familiar with our Senior All-Nighter event; an all night party organized and facilitated by the Senior Parents for this year’s graduating seniors. Our goal is to provide a secure, drug and alcohol free environment where students can celebrate their commencement all together. As an alumni, we believe you share our interest in keeping Spokane’s future alumni safe as they celebrate their graduation in June 2008. The Class of 2008 is excited to be graduating on the centennial anniversary for North Central!!

At this time the SAN Parent Group is seeking monetary donations, as well as donations of goods, services and/or gift certificates. The NC Senior All Nighter is a 501(c)(3) organization and your donation is tax deductible for your business to the extent you are entitled.

Your contribution will help ensure a successful event, providing food, games, prizes and entertainment for our seniors the night of graduation. We would gratefully accept your donation by mail or we would be happy to come and pick it up. If you choose to mail it, please send to:

A NOTE FROM THE COMMITTEE
We are a self-appointed committee, after making several calls this past Fall, we were unsure if anyone was doing anything and though none of us wanted to actually plan this event we all decided we would rather plan this than not have a reunion. Since those first phone calls we have been meeting monthly, scrambling to get peoples’ contact information, finding venues during wedding season, and trying to figure out all sorts of minor details. No matter how hectic it sounds, we have had so much fun planning this party. We quit thinking of it as a reunion, and started treating it like a great party for a great class. We end up visiting and laughing more when we get together than getting any actual work done. We want you to know this was planned between laughter and silliness, and if things seem a little too relaxed or perhaps a bit unorganized it’s because we’re not professionals, we’re just having fun and we want you to come and have fun with us this summer. We remembered the great events at the 10th and listened to different peoples’ ideas and think we have come up with another great party for the Class of ‘87. We hope everyone is able to come, and if you are unable to come and have fun with us we ask that you send in information about yourself, your family and your favorite memories from high school.

PLANNED EVENTS
Friday Night Mix and Mingle Mish-an-Nock Cruise - July 20th - 7:00 to 10:00pm – Lake Coeur d’Alene
This was mentioned at the 10th reunion because it was one of the favored Senior Events the spring of ’87. At the 10th the Meet and Greet was for Graduates only, however we do not want to limit your fun. Bring your guest if they are comfortable meeting and visiting new people, and you are comfortable visiting with old friends while with your guest. We leave this to your discretion. The only rule will be Adults only – 21 and over. Come and Cruise with us.
Important Information:
At The Coeur d’Alene Resort- 115 S 2nd St, Coeur D'Alene, ID. Parking is available in the Public Lot just east of the Resort. Boarding Starts at 6:30 and the boat launches precisely at 7:00 don’t be late! A cash bar and appetizers will be available for all to enjoy on the cruise.

Saturday Afternoon – July 21st – Noon - Corbin Park
This was a favorite from the 10th Reunion. What we heard was that many of our out of town classmates were unable to attend because they had to leave that Sunday, so we thought we should do it on Saturday while everyone was still in town. Bring your spouses (or guest), your children, even your parents and siblings, maybe classmates before and after us, anyone who would want to visit with us are welcome.
Important Information:
Just a mile north of NC following Howard St, between Waverly Pl and Park Pl. Bring your own sack lunch, picnic supplies, drinks, chairs, coolers, blankets, etc. Anything you will want to make your picnic fun and enjoyable.
Saturday Evening Dinner Buffet – July 21st - 6:00pm – Dinner at Mirabeau Park Hotel
This will be a less-than-formal, more-than-casual event. Like last time, we all wanted to dress up for an event, but we wanted it to be less formal than a sit-down served dinner. We’ve tried to hit the mark with a dressier event, with a really nice buffet dinner, no seating arrangement. Again, Teresa is looking forward to MCing a funny side event between dinner and dancing. Graduates and their guests only, please. If any out-of-towners need sitters for this event please note that in your information sheet you’ll send back to us.
Important Information:
1100 N Sullivan Rd, Spokane Valley, WA – Check-In Social with open bar and appetizers begins at 5:00; dinner will be served at 6:00.

Sunday July 22nd
We are hoping that people will decide to meet for golf, private picnics, boating events and other fun activities with each other. We will post the different open-invitation activities at the Saturday evening banquet, so let us know if you have a fun event you would like to do for the Class of ’87 on that Sunday.

Friday the 20th we are have booked a cruise on the Mish-an-Nock, we have planned an informal family gathering at Corbin Park Saturday the 21st in the afternoon.
