| Location | The greatest class to ever graduate from Winfield High School is having our 25th reunion the last weekend in June! Please mark your calendars and plan to attend. We will be getting together throughout the weekend at different homes and locations - please check back for more details. If you know where to find other classmates - please let me know. God bless y'all & can't wait to see you on June 26!!!! HOTEL - Also if you're traveling from out of town, we have a group rate of $87/night at the Hampton Inn at the Winfield exit. Just call 304-760-7292 to make a reservation - tell them you need the rate for Winfield Class of 1984 Reunion. Let them know that the confirmation number is 86882185. They will ask how many rooms, your name and what credit card you want to use. You can cancel up to 24 hours prior to arrival with no charge to your credit card. We have rooms booked from Thursday, June 25 through Monday, June 29. If you are taking vacation to attend, the Sept. 12 date is firm, even if the exact details change. Saturday, September 12, is the Winfield Alumni open house. This is for graduates of all years. The middle school (our graduating high school) will be open from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm on that day. Lunch will be available for purchase. We will set a time for our class to meet, so that we don't miss each other by coming in at different times. The alumni committee accepts donations that day for copying and mailing expenses. I'm trying to arrange a 'tour' of the school for our class. The only rooms that are unlocked for the open house are the cafeteria and restrooms, but if we can take a tour of some of the other areas, it will be a fun walk down memory lane. Our class will have a set time for a group picture to be taken (TBA). You can arrive and leave whenever you would like. If anyone would like to go out to dinner on Saturday evening, we can discuss that at the open house. Also on Saturday, as part of Putnam County Homecoming, is a car show and dance. Sunday, September 13, is Putnam County Homecoming in Winfield.
